OUR MISSION
While individuals may have differences in their abilities, the processes needed for reading are not different. Sensory-cognitive functions can be developed, and change an individual’s ability to read and comprehend. The mission of The Northwest Florida Academy is to assist children, with learning differences, in acquiring the skills and self-confidence needed to become independent learners. We do this through direct collaboration with families and customized instruction in research validated programs such as:
